Welcome to Lancing Equestrian

Your first ride with Lancing Equestrian will be an assessment lesson.
This is so that we get to know you, your aims with your riding, and can assess your current level of ability.
Your coach will discuss with you the range of riding opportunities available to you with Lancing Equestrian.
We can then suggest a suitable riding plan which is both progressive and enjoyable.
Duration 30 minutes
Cost £50
Future visits are then at the prices below, effective from 1st May 2023.

Please provide accurate height and weight for your rider as the horse that we will assign for your lesson is based on the information that you give. We do weigh riders on their first visit, and periodically thereafter, and we are unable to guarantee to have available an alternative horse if there is any discrepancy. In this event you will be unable to ride and we will not be able to offer you a credit for your ride.
We recommend that riders wear long trousers and socks.

Horse-riding is an outdoor activity and therefore we aim to ride in all but exceptional weathers so please ensure that you wear suitable clothes at all times. During extreme weather conditions when it may be unsafe or uncomfortable to ride outside we can supply interesting, practical 'on the ground' sessions as an alternative.

Other than for your first lesson at the centre,
all riders must provide their own boots, and a riding hat that meets all of the requirements of the BHS Approved Centres Hat Rules 2023.
